Put Chai Ko is a traditional Cantonese cake. Originally originated in Taishan, it has become one of Hong Kong's traditional snacks. Traditionally, pot cake is made with brown sugar, glutinous rice flour, etc., and then steamed in a small clay pot; however, the current production method mostly uses small porcelain bowls. When eating, pour the Put Chai Ko out of the small bowl and eat it with bamboo sticks. Some Put Chai Ko are made with red beans, some are made with white sugar, so they are white. The freshly steamed rPut Chai Ko tastes warm, smooth, fragrant and soft.
